Robert F. Agostinelli is a self made billionaire financier who is Chairman and Co-Founder of the private equity firm of Rhone Group, a capital investment firm. Mr. Agostinelli is a senior member of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and the American Italian Cancer Foundation as well as on the Board of Trustees of the National Review Institute and the American Veterans Center. Mr. Agostinelli writes articles for the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Times on various political, economic and social issues and spoke at the US Naval War College discussing the potential implications that policy decisions made on economic matters could have on U.S. National Security .
Mr. Agostinelli is a Founding member of the Friends of Israel Initiative and also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He counts among his close friends former President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, former Spanish Prime Minister, Jose Maria Azar and President George W. Bush and his brother, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Mr. Agostinelli owns homes in Palm Beach, London and Paris.
Mr. Agostinelli is married and has three (3) children with his wife Francesca. Mr. Agostinelli has two (2) children from a prior marriage and shares a common bond with the Murphy Family at the American Veterans Center having lost a son, Stefano, in a mountaineering accident while trying to save a group of climbers.
